The retreat is held at an idyllic children’s summer camp. ANNUAL FALL RETREATĮvery autumn, usually on the first weekend in October, our group hosts a weekend Big Book retreat.
There are also recordings of our annual retreat, see below. With permission from our speakers, their share is recorded and uploaded to this website to be shared among ourselves and with others. When the speaker is finished, people from the floor who have completed this process may share their experience on that step.
This meeting follows the Hyannis-style format, where each week a step is read out of the Big Book followed by a speaker who shares their experience on that step. Business meetings are on the last Tuesday of the month and begin at 8 pm. Parking is available in the gated lot, just past the building on the right. The entrance to the meeting is at the corner of Preble St. We meet every Tuesday evening from 7pm-8:30pm at the Salvation Army Adult Rehab Center, 88 Preble St, Portland, ME 04101.
